vXtream is delighted to annouce the launch of a new open source Infrastructure as a Service (Iaas), vXtream Elastic Cloud, powered by Cloudstack.
vXtream’s Elastic cloud offers the entire “stack” of features expected of an IaaS cloud: compute orchestration, Network-as-a-Service, user and account management, full and open native API, resource accounting, and a first-class user interface.
Ed St Pierre, Head of Operations, vXtream stated: “Cloudstack gives us the flexibility, through the utilisation and integration of existing virtualised hypervisor platforms, such as KVM, VMware vSphere and XenServer/XCP, to expand the compute needs of our customers on an on-demand basis.”
“It enables us to provide them with virtually unlimited amount of computing resources as required with simple, predictable and transparent billing for their actual usage.”
vXtream’s IaaS offers availability zones around the world, including London, New York, France and Switzerland providing customers with a global footprint.
Apache CloudStack is a top-level project of the Apache Software Foundation (ASF).
