Our Elastic Compute service is powered by CloudStack – offering open-source cloud computing for creating, managing, and deploying infrastructure cloud services. Elastic Compute utilises and supports existing hypervisor platforms for virtualization – VMware, KVM, Citrix XenServer, Xen Cloud Platform (XCP), Oracle VM server and Microsoft Hyper-V. CloudStack provides a REST-like API for the operation, management and use of your cloud.

What Operating Systems can I install?

Can I add upgrade the memory of my server?
Yes. CPU, Memory and Storage resources can all be upgraded. Simply login into your myVXTREAM portal and configure the server to meet your exact computing needs.
Can I bring my own IP addresses?
Yes, please contact us to discuss options.
Can I monitor the performance of my servers?
Yes. Only basic monitoring is provided as part of this service. Additional Monitoring can be purchased as required.
Can I setup a site-to-site VPN?
The service fully supports site to site and user based VPNs
Can I backup my servers?
The service includes a space allocation for performing snapshots, additional snapshot space may be purchased. Alternatively you wish to discuss our backup solutions and as a value add service.
